Home-Start is the UK’s leading family support charity with 269 Home-Start local organisations all over the UK, including support of British Forces families at home and abroad. Home-Start Richmondshire is one such voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under 7 years of age. Volunteers offer regular support, friendship and practical help to families under stress in their own homes helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.

Knowledge of office systems and procedures, excellent communication skills both oral and written combined with strong inter personal skills are essential. The ability to work closely within a small team whilst also prioritising your own workload is essential. The ability to manage social media communications and our website is a key function of the role. We would also expect the successful applicant to have excellent MS Office skills.
An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for all staff.
